This soap dispenser has an infrared sensor that activates within 2.75 inches, so it doesn't activate prematurely, but still activates reliably when used. It has a volume control style dial that ranges from .03 oz. to .19 oz. per activation and a clear canister that makes checking the soap level effortless. The canister holds up to 17 oz. (500mL) of soap, making it one of the largest capacity dispensers of its kind, and yet, the dispenser is only 3.3 inches wide, saving space on the countertop, but to save even more countertop space, it can also be hung on the wall. Contributing to its long battery life is a silicone seal in the battery compartment that keeps the batteries dry. The batteries, however, are not included in the price of the dispenser. Despite that though, the price is reasonable, as the chrome topped version can be found at Rakuten for $25.99 or Amazon for $30.99 at the time this review is being written.
